Digicel MyCash Prepaid Mastercard®

We are aware that financial terms can sometimes be confusing. So, we have developed some frequently asked questions to assist you in better understanding the Digicel MyCash Prepaid Mastercard. Please feel free to contact us if there are any further clarifications needed at 1-888-880-6842.

The Digicel MyCash Prepaid MasterCard Program will be discontinued on June 30, 2020, and the app will no longer be available for download effective May 26, 2020. You will be able to load your prepaid card with money until June 21, 2020.

We know this news is unfortunate, but we are excited to let you know that we are building a new and improved solution to meet your money transfer needs. We will keep you updated with news about this new service in our website www.digicelmycash.com.

You will receive a check via mail to the address you listed when opening your Digicel MyCash wallet for any remaining balance on your account after June 30, 2020

You should receive a check within 45 calendar days after the day the program ends. If you do not receive your check in the mail within that time, please contact our customer service at 1-888-880-6842.

You will be able to send money to Jamaica or to use your Digicel MyCash wallet and Prepaid MasterCard until June 30, 2020. Please keep in mind that the last date to load your card is June 21, 2020.

Every MyCash holder in Jamaica will be able to continue using their MyCash wallet and prepaid card. However, after June 30 they will no longer be able to receive money from the USA to their MyCash wallet.

The Digicel MyCash Prepaid MasterCard Program will discontinue on June 30, 2020 and will not be available to use any longer.

If your application was approved before May 15 your card would have been mailed out. You may use this card until the program closure on June 30, 2020. Please remember that you can load money only until June 21, 2020.

Yes, except recurring charges. For these you will have to contact the merchant directly to resolve any issues. To file a dispute for any other reason, we will require a signed affidavit from you within ten business days via fax or email Disputes@DigicelMyCash.com along with the date and amount of the transaction, and the merchant’s name.

Yes. Account statements may be provided up to two (2) years after your account has been closed. To request a statement for a particular period, please contact our customer service at 1 888- 880-6842. Requests for statements are completed within 3-5 business days.
